ZIZANIE
Little Zizanie of our Valley was born on 3rd of January 2000 and was our Y2K bug.
One horn of the uterus, she was the only pup alive. We had to spay Valley because of this.
These photos were taken in the very first hours and days. They explain best why Irish Wolfhound pups need a 24h/24 supervision during the first weeks in order to avoid that their mother kills them by lying on them accidently.
5 -15 days old. Since the third day, we had to start bottle feeding due to the lack of milk of the mother,
one bottle every 2-3 hours, even at night.
Three weeks old and eyes wide open Four weeks and first walk in the garden
Five to six weeks old and already a real little dare-devil, giving a hard time to mummy Valley...
... and 17-year-old playing companion, Manoukiane, our still very lively chow-chow mix.
